How to make homemade spaghetti sauce! Here is part 2 on how I make my homemade spaghetti sauce. This is my families favorite spaghetti sauce! Ive really spoiled my husband and boys because whenever they have another spaghetti sauce its always just ok. This homemade spaghetti sauce starts with a from-scratch fresh, flavorful roasted tomato sauce. Its the base for this recipe and creates one multi-level, exceptional spaghetti sauce! Feel free to add in any of your favorites meats, herbs or spices. I prefer to keep a basic, fresh tasting sauce and then provide toppings like black olives, pepperoni, basil, parmesan, green bell peppers, mushrooms, etc. My guests really likes having a spaghetti bar style dinner. Dont forget the garlic bread, salad and wine!!!!


Ground beef 1 Pound
Roasted tomato sauce 2 Cup (32 tbs) (homemade)
Tomato paste 6 Ounce
Diced tomatoes 14 1/2 Ounce
Chicken broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Bay leaf 1
Red pepper flakes 1/4 Teaspoon
Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
Basil 1 Tablespoon
Parsley 1 Tablespoon
Oregano 1 Tablespoon
Thyme 1 Tablespoon
Wine 2 Tablespoon
Parmesan To Taste (for topping)
Black olives To Taste (for topping)
Pepperoni To Taste (for topping)
