Bacon ( Bacon & Cheese Dip on Sour Dough Bread)

I try to make all my recipes simple,quick and easy to follow. Sorry about the voice over.......had no idea my battery was dead!


Sour dough bread 1 Pound (2 loafs of half pound each)
Cooked bacon slices 5 , diced
Monetary jack cheese
Romano cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Mayonnaise 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Shallot 1 , minced



1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.


2. In a large bowl, add in shallot, bacon, romano cheese, monetary jack cheese and mayonnaise. Mix well.

3. Using a serrated knife slice the top of the sour dough bread and hollow the top and bottom and reserve the pieces.

4. Place the bread over a baking sheet and fill with the cheese mixture. Place the top back on and repeat the process with rest of the loaf.

5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 60 minutes.


6. Serve with reserved bread pieces.
