Warm Black Bean Dip

Superbowl party favorite!!! Serve this with warm chips - or call it a side dish at your next BBQ!


Bacon strips 4 , diced
Chopped onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sweet red pepper 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped
Green pepper 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm) , minced
Black beans 30 Ounce , rinsed, drained (2 cans (15 ounces each))
Red hot sauce 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Lime juice 2 Tablespoon
Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce 2 Teaspoon , minced
Ground cumin 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Fresh cilantro 2 Tablespoon , mince



1. Place a large skillet on medium heat and cook bacon until crisp.

2. Transfer bacon on paper towel to drain, reserving 2 teaspoon fat in skillet.

3. Drop onion, and peppers in skillet and saute until tender.

4. Throw garlic and cook for an additional minute.

5. Add a can of beans, stir and mash everything.

6. Drop hot sauce, lime juice, chipotle pepper, cumin, salt and remaining beans. Cook until warmed through.

7. Add bacon and cilantro just before ready to serve.


8. Serve warm black beans dip with chips.
