Creamy Corn Dip Cob Loaf is a retro party favourite! A rich creamy corn dip is spooned into a hollowed out, lightly toasted cob bread loaf. The bread pieces are used for dipping, then the bread bowl itself is eaten - its the ultimate in self-cleaning party food! No mess, no fuss. Just fun food to share with your friends - give it a go!

Ingredients

Cob loaf/Similar crusty bread 1 Large
Sour cream/Soft cream cheese 500 Gram
French onion soup mix 40 Gram (1 packet, dried)
Spring onions/Shallots 3 , chopped
Corn relish 250 Gram
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F.

 

MAKING:

Prepare cob loaf bread as shown in the video.

Place bread bowl and torn bread pieces on baking tray and pop into oven.

Toast for 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine sour cream, soup mix, chopped spring onions, corn relish and mix well.

Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.

Transfer the cream mixture into cooled bread bowl.

 

SERVING:                       

Serve with toasted bread pieces or crackers and enjoy!
