Broccoli and Red Capsicum Dip

A tantalizing dip of red capsicum and broccoli sauteed with celery, onions, and other flavorful ingredients. A mix-in of cheese and fresh cream gives the colorful and crunchy veggies a splendid base. Serve the Broccoli and Red Capsicum Dip fresh and hot right off the stove.


Blanched broccoli florets 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Finely chopped red capsicum 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Butter 2 Teaspoon
Garlic paste 1/2 Teaspoon (lehsun)
Finely chopped green chillies 1 Teaspoon
Finely chopped celery 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (ajmoda)
Finely chopped onions 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Grated processed cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Fresh cream 2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste



In a broad non-stick pan, heat the butter and add the garlic paste and green chillies. Sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.

Add celery, onions and red capsicum and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.

Add broccoli and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.

Add cheese, fresh cream and salt, mix well.

Cook on a medium flame for 1 minute. 


Serve immediately with cream cracker biscuits.
