Learn how to make flan with this easy flan recipe! Flan (or Creme Caramel) is one of my favorite Mexican desserts, it's easier than it seems and everyone loves it!
Eggs | 3 | |
Cream cheese | 4 Ounce (half an 8 ounce block) | |
Sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Milk | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Evaporated milk | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Vanilla | 2 Teaspoon | |
Sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) |
GETTING READY:
1.Preheat oven to 400F.
MAKING:
2.In an electric mixer, beat together eggs, cream cheese and sugar by gradually increasing the speed.
3.Slowly add milk and vanilla until incorporated. Set aside once done.
4.For caramel, heat sugar in a heavy skillet. Stir frequently for 10-12 minutes or until it becones liquid and golden in color.
5.Distribute caramel evenly into ramekins and pour custard mixture over it. Place in a water bath and pop into oven.
6.Bake for 35 minutes-60 minutes or until set.
7.Pop into refrigerator until chill.
8.Transfer to plate as shown in the video.
SERVING:
