How To Make Creme Brulee

This is an awesomely awesome Crème brûlée recipe that is super simple and super delicious- no blow torch, no broiler. Fancy, easy, delicious. What more could one ask for in a dessert?

Ingredients

Heavy cream/1/2 cup milk and 1 1/4 cup cream 1 3/4 Cup (28 tbs)
Vanilla pod/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 , split, seeds scraped
Granulated sugar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Egg yolks 3
Water 3 Tablespoon
For caramelising:
Granulated sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Water 4 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 200F/ 100C.

MAKING:

In a saucepan, combine cream, vanilla seeds, vanilla pod and bring to boil. Strain into another bowl.

In a bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until light and frothy.

Add hot cream mixture into egg mixture and mix well.

Place ramekins on baking tray and pour 3/4cup with mixture.

Pop into oven and bake for 1 hour. Cool completely and chill for at least 3 hours.

In a saucepan, caramelize sugar and pour over chill custards.
