Chocolate Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Frosting

Lynn demonstrates how to make a delicious dessert or snack, Chocolate Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Frosting. This is really easy and impressive.

Ingredients

For dry ingredients
White sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Brown sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Flour 14 Tablespoon ( cup plus 2 Tablespoons)
Cocoa powder 6 Tablespoon ( cup plus 2 Tablespoons)
Baking powder 3/4 Teaspoon
Baking soda 3/4 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
For wet ingredients
Eggs 1
Milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Vegetable oil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Boiled water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
For icing
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Powdered sugar 4 1/2 Cup (72 tbs)
Pure vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Salted caramel sauce 3 Tablespoon
Milk 4 Tablespoon (2

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners and set aside.

MAKING

2. In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.

3. Add egg, milk, oil, and vanilla and beat well.

4. Pour in boiling water and stir the batter until well combined.

5. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with an ice cream scoop.

6. Bake for 20-22 minutes in the oven.

7. Take out the cupcakes and let it cool for 10 minutes on cooling rack. Remove it from the pan and let it cool completely before frosting.

8. For frosting – in a large bowl, beat together butter and ½ cup of the powdered sugar.

9. Add the vanilla extract and salted caramel sauce and continue beating.

10. Continue to add powdered sugar until you reach your desired consistency. If the frosting is too thick, add milk until your desired consistency is achieved with the amount of powdered sugar you use.

FINALIZING

11. Pour in the frosting into a piping bag and frost the cupcakes. Drizzle in some salted caramel sauce.

SERVING

12. Serve cupcakes for dessert.
