Shrimp Pakoras - Restaurant Style Fritters - Kravings

Everyone loves crispy Pakoras. Typically they are Vegetarian made with Onion, Chilli and Potatoes but many restaurants also serve a Chicken, Fish and Shrimp version. These Shrimp Pakoras have both Indian and Chinese ingredients.


Small cooked shrimp 200 Gram
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Finely diced onion 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Finely chopped coriander 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Sambal oelek chili paste/Chilli garlic paste 2 Teaspoon
Fresh cracked pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Red food colouring 1/2 Teaspoon (optional)
Gram flour 2 Tablespoon
Rice flour 1 Tablespoon
Water 1 Tablespoon
Finely chopped green chillies 1 Teaspoon
Oil 1/2 Liter (For deep frying)
