FOR APPLE CRUMBLE:
GETTING READY:
1. Combine apples, 3/4 cup sugar & lemon juice in a bowl.
2. Arrange apples evenly in a 7" 11" baking dish and set aside.
3. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
MAKING:
4. In a separate bowl combine remaining ingredients & 1 stick of butter, chop into pea size bits.
5. Spread crumble mixture over apples and bake in a 375 degrees oven for 45 minutes.
SERVING:
6. Serve and enjoy!
FOR APPLE CRANBERRY TART:
GETTING READY:
1. Preheat you oven to 375 degrees.
MAKING:
2. Melt butter & sugar in a large iron skillet.
3. Add apples, place with flat edge down.
4. Cook on very high heat for 10 to 12 min.
5. Remove from heat, flip apples, return to heat for another 5 minutes.
6. Add cranberries, cover with pastry crusts, tuck edges around sides.
7. Bake 35 minutes in a preheated 375 degrees oven.
8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes the loosen edges with a knife and flip tart over onto a serving plate.
SERVING:
9. Serve and enjoy!
FOR HOLIDAY CHUTNEY:
MAKING:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan.
2. Heat to boiling.
3. Continue boiling for 20 minutes, stirring often.
4. Allow to cool before serving.
SERVING:
5. Store in the refrigerator and use as required.
FOR HOT WINTER SOUP:
MAKING:
1. Simmer tomatoes and tomato juice in a large sauce pan for 30 min.
2. Add basil leaves.
3. Blend in food processor until smooth.
4. Return mixture to pan.
5. Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
SERVING:
6. Serve hot.
FOR TOASTED PECANS:
GETTING READY:
1. Preheat your over to 300 degrees.
MAKING:
2. Spread pecans evenly in baking pan and set aside.
3. In a sauce pan melt butter.
4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
5. Drizzle mixture over nuts.
6. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Cool on a paper towel.
SERVING:
8. Serve and enjoy!
FOR POPCORN BALLS:
MAKING:
1. Heat sugar, syrup, water, butter and salt in a sauce pan.
2. Stir continuously until all sugar is dissolved.
3. Stop stirring and heat until mixture reaches 270 degrees.
4. Add vanilla and pour mixture over popcorn and mix.
5. Grease hands with butter and form popcorn mixture into balls.
SERVING:
6. Store in airtight bags and eat whenever you want.
