Prawn or Shrimp Ghee roast is a popular dry spicy dish that hails from Kerala in South India. Ghee or clarified butter gives it a delicious flavor but there are many other spices in this recipe


Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm)
Lemon 1 Tablespoon
Water 3 Tablespoon
Shrimps 1 Pound , devein
Salt To Taste
Minced green chilies 2 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Ghee 4 Tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Finely chopped onions 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Dried fenugreek leaves 3/4 Teaspoon , divided (((1/2 tsp is for the marinade and 1/4 tsp is for the oil mixture)))
Curry leaves 10
Cream 3 Tablespoon
Mustard oil 1 Tablespoon
Garnishes 1 Tablespoon (((mint and coriender leaves)))
Lemon wedge slices 6 (((for serving)))
