Who said Pulao has only veggies in it?
Sometimes it can have yummy Koftas too.
Enjoy this 'Matar Kofta Pulao' prepared with the goodness of flaxseed oil that gives 5x more omega 3 than any other olive oil in Saffola Aura Olive Oil.
|Green peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Red chilli powder||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Turmeric powder||1/4 Teaspoon|
|Garam masala||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)|
|Corn flour||1 Teaspoon|
1.Take in a mixer peas and chillies. If you want sprinkle some water. Grind smoothly.
2.Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt. Grind again.
3.Transfer the contents to a bowl. Add corn flour and mix well.
4.Make gooseberry shaped balls and set aside.
5.Heat oil in a pan and slowly drop in the kofta balls.
6.Once golden brown take them out.
7.Place the koftas on absorbent paper.
8.In a pan add oil and cumin seed. Add onion and fry till pink.
9.Once they turn pink, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and salt.
10.Chop tomatoes and place them in a blender, puree them.
11.Add tomato puree to fried onions. Add water if required.
12.Cook till oil leaves the sides.
13.Once the mixture thickens add fried koftas and add boiled basmati rice.
14.Mix well & garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
15.Serve and enjoy!
