How To Make Old-Fashioned Cream Cheese Mints

You can make these super simple old-fashioned cream cheese mints in to time at all. They are perfect for wedding or even baby showers. These mints are naturally gluten-free, and so easy to make a child could do it.

Ingredients

Cream cheese 8 Ounce
Soft butter 3 Tablespoon
Powdered sugar 2 Pound , divided (plus extra for rolling)
Mint extract 2 Teaspoon (ok to use peppermint extract too)
Green food colouring 6 Drop
Yellow food coloring 6 Drop

Directions

MAKING:

1.In a large bowl add 8 ounces of cream cheese, 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter, and 2 pounds of powdered sugar. Add in 1 to 2 teaspoons of mint extract. Mix with an electric mixer.

2.Dust a baking sheet with powdered sugar.

3.When the mints are thoroughly blended divide into 1 teaspoon sized balls. Place balls on a baking sheet. Use a fork to to press down on the mints and make a design.

SERVING:

4.Store mints in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. You may want to lay pieces of wax paper between the layers of mints and use as required.
