Definitely not a Bacon Explosion! Taking another look at the BBQ Fatty, stuffed with leftovers, and Cabot cheese to make a mid-week dinner a little more easy. Beginners BBQ Recipe!
The Bacon Explosion has been around for several years now and I have successfully avoided making one on the Cooking Everything Outdoors show. I just couldn't add anything more to a great idea, so I thought I would scale it down a bit for dinner.
Using leftovers and country sausage, this BBQ Fatty becomes and easy dinner to make that everyone will love. A little help from my friends at Cabot Cheese helps too! Smoked on the Grill Dome.

Ingredients

Country sausage 1 3/4 Pound , ground
Asparagus 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Red bell pepper 1/2 , julienned (Sauteed in little bit of butter and olive oil)
Yellow bell pepper 1/2 , julienned (Sauteed in little bit of butter and olive oil)
Onion 1 , julienned (Sauteed in little bit of butter and olive oil)
Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm) , mince (Sauteed in little bit of butter and olive oil)
Mashed potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs) (skin on)
Dry rub 2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) (i used cabot shredded cheese)
