Palak Paneer Rice - One Pot Palak Paneer Rice - Spinach And Cottage Cheese Rice - Simple Rice Recipe

Go green with the evergreen Palak Paneer made in one pot with hot steamy rice.


Spinach leaves 500 Gram (palak,2 bunches)
Green chillies 3
Garlic 6 Clove (30 gm)
Sugar 1 Tablespoon
Refined oil 4 Tablespoon (for frying paneer)
Rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Bay leaves 3
Peppercorn 5
Cloves 5
Cinnamon stick 2
Onion 1 , finely chopped
Paneer 1 Cup (16 tbs) , chop (pieces)
Salt To Taste



1.Make a paste of palak/spinach leaves, green chillies, garlic and 1 tbsp of sugar. Add water but don't make the paste too thin.

2.Wash and soak rice (for 20 mins).


3.Heat a pressure cooker and add oil. Add whole garam masala. 4.Sauté for a minute.

5.Now add chopped onions and sauté till they turn brown.

6.Add the palak paste and cook for 2-3 minutes.

7.Now add soaked rice, salt and water. Give 2 whistles.

8.In the meantime, fry the paneer pieces.

9.Once the rice is cooked, mix fried paneer pieces with rice in a bowl.


10.Garnish with caramelised onions and serve hot.
