Moghlai Paratha - How To Make Mughlai Egg Paratha - Stuffed Paratha Recipes - Indian Street Food

Begin your day with a snack, inspired from the streets of Kolkata- Moglai Paratha, that will not only brighten up your mood but will keep you wanting for more.


For dough:
Refined flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Refined oil 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (as required)
For stuffing:
Eggs 5
Onions 2 Large , chop
Chopped garlic 1 Teaspoon
Green chillies 2
Chopped coriander leaves 3 Tablespoon
Black pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste



For dough:

1.Combine flour, salt and oil together. Mix very well till it resembles fine bread crumbs.

2.Then put warm water little by little and knead it.

3.One you knead it well, smear little oil on the surface of the dough and cover with damp cloth.

4.Keep it aside for half an hour.


For filling:

5.In a bowl, add chopped onion, coriander leaves, minced garlic, eggs, green chilies, pepper and salt.

6.Beat well and it's ready.

For Paratha:

7.Now knead the dough again and take a ball out of it.

8.Roll with the help of some flour. Keep rolling out till thin.

9.Put the egg stuffing in the middle. Spread little.

10.Now fold two opposite sides towards centre.

11.Similarly fold another two ends so that it completely closed with the filling inside. Make sure no filling has come out.

12.Cook on low flame.

13.Cook until both sides turn to nice golden brown.


14.Serve hot with green chutney and sauce.
