This festive season Cook, Store, Eat and Repeat...a simple home style, special food called Panjiri, filled with the goodness of wheat flour, ghee, dry fruits makhanas.
|Wheat flour||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (atta)|
|Chopped cashew||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped almonds||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped coconut||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Ghee||3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (for sauteing dry fruits,for roasting the wheat flour)|
|Makhana||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1.Heat ghee in a pan and sauté chopped cashews, chopped almonds & chopped coconut,chopped almonds & keep aside.
2.Add makhanas to the same pan & sauté them.
3.Dry roast the wheat flour in a pan & add ghee & other sautéed dry fruits.
4.Roast till there is a nice nutty smell coming.
5.Once done remove from flame.
6.Add powdered sugar, mix well.
7.Add the sautéed makhanas & dry fruits mix on top.
8.Serve and enjoy.
Store it in an air tight container for further use.
