Homestyle Panjiri - How To Make Panjiri - Healthy And Nutritious

This festive season Cook, Store, Eat and Repeat...a simple home style, special food called Panjiri, filled with the goodness of wheat flour, ghee, dry fruits makhanas.


Wheat flour 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (atta)
Chopped cashew 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chopped almonds 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chopped coconut 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Powdered sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Ghee 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (for sauteing dry fruits,for roasting the wheat flour)
Makhana 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)



1.Heat ghee in a pan and sauté chopped cashews, chopped almonds & chopped coconut,chopped almonds & keep aside.

2.Add makhanas to the same pan & sauté them.

3.Dry roast the wheat flour in a pan & add ghee & other sautéed dry fruits.

4.Roast till there is a nice nutty smell coming.

5.Once done remove from flame.

6.Add powdered sugar, mix well.

7.Add the sautéed makhanas & dry fruits mix on top.


8.Serve and enjoy.


Store it in an air tight container for further use.
