Apple Pista Shrikhand - Homemade Shrikhand - Diwali Special - Indian Sweet Recipes

Indian sweet dish 'Shrikhand' made with yogurt and a kick of apple pista is all you need to end your day. You won't stop drooling.


Chopped apples 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (as required)
Lemon 1
Hung curd 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Warm milk 2 Tablespoon
Saffron 1 Teaspoon
Chopped pistachio 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Castor sugar 2 Tablespoon



1.Immerse chopped apples in lemon water to keep them fresh.

2.Add hung curd in a mixing bowl, fold it well.

3.Add saffron to warm milk & mix well for the colour.

4.Add the saffron milk in the mixing bowl & mix it with hung curd.

5.Now add the chopped apples, chopped pistachios & castor sugar.

6.Fold them well & fill in a piping bag.

7.Pipe them out in mini glasses.

8.Garnish with chopped apples & pistachios.


9.Serve and enjoy.
