Mini Chillas With Paneer Toping - Besan Paneer Chila - Gram Flour Pancake With Cottage Cheese

Enjoy your tea time with some lip smacking snack, Mini Paneer Chilla.


For mini chilas:
Gram flour 1 Cup (16 tbs) (besan)
Carom seeds 1 Teaspoon (ajwain)
Asafoetida 1 Teaspoon (hing)
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Chaat masala 1 Teaspoon
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (as required)
Red chilli flakes 1 Teaspoon
Oil 2 Tablespoon
Butter 1 Tablespoon
For paneer topping:
Grated paneer 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Green chutney 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Crushed black pepper 1 Teaspoon
Chaat masala 2 Teaspoon
Red chilli flakes 1 Teaspoon
Lemon 1
Fresh coriander 1 1/2 Ounce (1/2 bunch)



1.In a bowl, add gram flour (besan),carom seeds (ajwain), asafoetida (hing), turmeric powder, salt, chaat masala, water & mix well.

2.Using a sieve, strain the mixture in another bowl to avoid lumps.

3.Add red chilli flakes to the batter & mix well.

4.Heat some oil & butter in a pan.

5.Spread a small portion of the batter and make mini chilas.

6.Make a mixture of grated paneer, green chutney, crushed black pepper, chaat masala & salt.

7.Serve it on top of the chilas.

8.Squeeze some lemon juice on top.

9.Garnish with red chilli flakes and fresh coriander .


10.Serve and enjoy.
