Sabudana Thepla - Easy Breakfast - Tea Time Snack - Crispy Sago Fritters Recipe

Enjoy the new flavour of theplas made from sabudana, which you can have during fasting days during Ganpati festival!


Sabudana 200 Gram (soaked minimum for 3
Boiled potatoes 2
Salt To Taste
Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Powdered peanuts 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , roast
Refined oil 1 Teaspoon
Coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon (as required)



1.In a large pan, mix the soaked Sabudana, mashed boiled potatoes, crushed peanuts, salt and red chilli powder. Add a few chopped coriander leaves as well.

2.Heat a non-stick tawa and pour a little oil.

3.Make small pancake size theplas. The mixture will be a little sticky so you can apply very little oil on your palms. Repeat this for the rest of the mixture.

4.Cook on low so that cakes get cooked from inside as well. Cook on both sides, turning them in between. Once they are little firm and brown from outside, take them off the flame.


5.Serve them hot with your choice of chutney.
