Now chat becomes more interesting with crispy and hot matar chaat, which you can plate and enjoy in two different ways of your own choice.
|Green peas||2 Cup (32 tbs) , chop|
|Chat masala||1 Teaspoon ((plus extra for sprinkling))|
|Garam masala||1/4 Teaspoon ((plus extra for sprinkling))|
|Red chilli powder||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Roasted cumin powder||1/2 Teaspoon ((plus extra for sprinkling))|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon ((plus ectra))|
|Boiled mashed potatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green chutney||1 Teaspoon|
|Sweet chutney||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped onions||2 Tablespoon|
1.In a bowl mix all the ingredients (chaat masala, garam masala, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, salt, lemon juice, boiled and mashed potatoes) with green peas.
2.Coarsely mash the peas.
3.Now make thin flat tikkis with the mixture.
4.Heat the pan with oil, and shallow fry the matar tikkis until crusty top and bottom.
5.Serve in two ways of your choice- Topped with dahi/curd and chutneys (sweet and green) OR with just some sprinkle of masalas (chaat masala, cumin powder, red chilli powder), lemon juice and chopped onions with it.
