Potato Cheese Garlic Tikki

Wild beyond your wildest imagination, this tikki brings together a range of zesty ingredients like potatoes, garlic and cheese. Almonds give this Potato Cheese Garlic Tikki a nutty dimension while onion adds crunch and herbs like coriander and mint boost the aroma and flavour. Potatoes 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (boiled and mashed)
Grated processed cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Finely chopped garlic 2 Tablespoon (lehsun)
Finely chopped onions 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Finely chopped mint leaves 2 Tablespoon (phudina)
Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon (dhania)
Chilli powder 2 Teaspoon
Cornflour 2 Tablespoon
Finely chopped almonds 1 Tablespoon (badam)
Salt To Taste
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
Green chutney 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For serving)



1.Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.

2.Divide the mixture into 16 equal portions and shape each portion into a flat round tikki.

3.Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and deep-fry, a few tikkis at a time, on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.


4.Serve immediately with green chutney.
