Let us welcome lychee end our week sweetly with fruity lychee firni. Relish the juicy fruit in every bite of this dessert
|Basmati rice||4 Tablespoon , soaked|
|Lychee||3/4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lychee crush||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cardamom powder||1/4 Teaspoon|
|Khoya||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Almonds||12 (((blanched and chopped)))|
|Pistachios||12 (((blanched and chopped)))|
|Rose water||1/2 Teaspoon|
1.Boil milk and rice in a non-stick pan.
2.Stir continuously, till mixture thickens
3.Once it thickens add sugar, lychee pieces, lychee crush and mix well.
4.In about 1 tsp of water add the cardamom powder and mix it with the lychee mix.
5.Add the grated khoya, rose water, almonds and pistachios.
6.Once the mixture is thick remove from the flame and mix continuously till the mixture turns cold.
7.Pour in an earthen pot and set it aside to set.
8. Serve with a garnish of almonds, pistachios and lychee.
