Gujarati Toor (Tuvar) Dal is very delicious tangy and great with Rice and Roti.


Toor dal 1 Cup (16 tbs) (soaked for 6 hours)
Peanut 20 Gram
Tomato 1 Large
Oil 1/2 Tablespoon
Ghee 1/2 Tablespoon
Dry red chili 2
Mustard seed 1/2 Teaspoon
Red chili powder To Taste
Ginger paste 1 Teaspoon
Gur 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Hing 1 Pinch
Coriander cumin powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (use as required)
Lemon 1/2
