Sheer Khurma - How To Make Sheer Khurma

This is a very special festival sweet or vermicelli pudding.


Pistachios 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Almonds 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Ghee 4 Tablespoon
Vermicelli 5 Tablespoon
Charoli 3 Tablespoon
Raisins 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Milk 2 Liter
Saffron strands 5
Condensed milk 400 Gram
Deseeded dates 4



1.Add the almonds and pistachios in a bowl and soak with water.

2.Once soaked remove skin and chop it.

3.Add 1 tbsp ghee in a pan and add the vermicelli.

4.Cook it till it turns golden brown.

5.Heat another tbsp. of ghee in the pan and add chopped dry fruits with charoli and raisins and mix well.

6.Next heat the milk and add saffron strands and condensed milk.

7.Cook till the milk changes colour.

8.Next add vermicelli and the dry fruits mix and dates.

9.Bring it to a boil or till it thickens.


10.Serve hot with garnish of dry fruit mix and dates.
