Hawaiian BBQ Chicken

Today I'm making Hawaiian BBQ Chicken from Saber's Better Barbecue Blog. This dish was created for SABER Infrared Grills by the wonderful foodie blogger Colleen Kennedy of Souffle Bombay.


Chicken thighs 8
Canned pineapple chunks in syrup 14 Ounce ((1 can))
Soy sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm) ((large))
Chopped sweet onion 1 Cup (16 tbs) ((sweet))
Minced ginger 2 Tablespoon
Coconut milk 14 Ounce ((1 can))



1.In a bowl, brown sugar, soy sauce, sweet onion, pineapple juice from can, ginger, coconut milk, garlic and mix well.

2.Pour into ziplock bag with chicken thighs and allow to marinade overnight in a refrigerator.

3.Preheat saber grill.


4.Place marinated chicken thighs on grill and cook for 20-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F.

5.Skewer pineapple chunks and grill for a few minutes.

6.Assemble as shown in the video.


7.Serve and enjoy!
