Classic Waffle Recipe

Just like you Mom made you when you were a kid simple and perfect!


All purpose flour 2 1/4 Cup (36 tbs)
Fruit sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Egg 3
Unsalted butter 1 Tablespoon (melted and cooled)
Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 1/2 Teaspoon



Pre-heat your waffle iron.

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

In another bowlwhisk eggs, milk, butter and vanilla in a large jug until well combined.

Slowly whisk dry ingredients into egg and milk mixture to form a smooth batter.

Pour 1⁄2 cup of batter into each waffle square and close lid to cook. Time will depend on your waffle maker.

Repeat with remaining batter.
