Sour Cream Chili

Sour Cream Chilin is a sumptous side dish that is simply a joy to prepare and serve. My family loves this well flavored dish and I make it often for our weekend luncheons. Try this Sour Cream Chili. You will love it. Trust me!


Ground beef 1 Pound
Condensed chili beef soup 22 1/2 Ounce
Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Onion soup mix 2 Tablespoon
Chili powder 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Dairy sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Shredded cheese 1 Teaspoon
Chopped onion 1 Teaspoon


In a large saucepan brown the ground beef; drain off excess fat.

Stir in the chili beef soup, water, dry onion soup mix, and chili powder.

Bring to boiling; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Stir some of the hot mixture into the sour cream; return all to saucepan.

Heat and stir about 5 minutes longer but do not boil.

Garnish with shredded cheese and chopped onion.
