When your pav is too lazy to get pav to make Vada Pav, make it with bread slices instead.


For the batter:
Besan 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Tumeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Baking powder 1 Pinch
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (or as required to make it in runny consistency)
For the mixture and vada:
Boiled mashed potatoes 3
Oil 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs) , divided (for deep frying and tempering)
Hing 1/2 Teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Curry leaves 8
Garlic paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Chopped green chillies 1/2 Teaspoon
Tumeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (for making the bread wet)
Bread slices 7
