Evenings are special, so having some fun with one of our favourite snack ingredient makes it more special, fun food evenings with crispy corn.
Boiled corn kernel | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Cornflour | 2 Tablespoon | |
Rice flour | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
Refined oil | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying and saute) | |
Green chillies | 2 , chop | |
Red chilli powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
Cumin powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Tomato puree | 3 Tablespoon | |
Vinegar | 1 Teaspoon | |
Finely chopped onion | 1 Tablespoon | |
Chaat masala | 1 Teaspoon | |
Sugar | 1/3 Teaspoon | |
Ginger garlic paste | 4 Tablespoon | |
Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (as required) | |
Finely chopped coriander | 1 Teaspoon |
MAKING:
1.Mix both flours with salt and water.
2.Add boiled corn kernels and fry.
3.Heat oil in a pan add ginger garlic paste and saute.
4.Next add green chillies and onions.
5.Saute till onions turn translucent.
6.Pour in the tomato puree, vinegar and all the spices (sugar, cumin powder, chilli powder).
7.Mix this well, then add fried corns.
SERVING:
8.Serve hot with sprinkle of chaat masala and coriander.
