Crispy Corn - How To Make Crispy Corn - Crispy Chatpata Corn

Evenings are special, so having some fun with one of our favourite snack ingredient makes it more special, fun food evenings with crispy corn.


Boiled corn kernel 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cornflour 2 Tablespoon
Rice flour 2 1/2 Tablespoon
Refined oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying and saute)
Green chillies 2 , chop
Red chilli powder 2 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Tomato puree 3 Tablespoon
Vinegar 1 Teaspoon
Finely chopped onion 1 Tablespoon
Chaat masala 1 Teaspoon
Sugar 1/3 Teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste 4 Tablespoon
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (as required)
Finely chopped coriander 1 Teaspoon



1.Mix both flours with salt and water.

2.Add boiled corn kernels and fry.

3.Heat oil in a pan add ginger garlic paste and saute.

4.Next add green chillies and onions.

5.Saute till onions turn translucent.

6.Pour in the tomato puree, vinegar and all the spices (sugar, cumin powder, chilli powder).

7.Mix this well, then add fried corns.


8.Serve hot with sprinkle of chaat masala and coriander.
