If you are in a mood to have a delicious pickle but bored with the usual ones, we bring to you a tasty, quick simple method to make Pomfret Pickle!


Pomfret fish 1 Medium
Ginger piece 1/2 Inch
Garlic 15 Clove (75 gm)
Green chilli 1
Coriander leaves 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Masala mix 2 Teaspoon
Lemons 3
Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Pickle masala 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt To Taste



1. Cut Pomfret into medium size pieces and add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, mix masala, turmeric powder, salt & mix all the ingredients well.

2. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the marinated pomfret pieces.

3. Take another pan and add oil. Once the oil is hot add mix masala and pomfret pieces. Bring to a boil and the pickle is ready.


4. Serve with a generous sqeeze of a lemon.
