Home Made Tomato Ketchup

Home Made Tomato Ketchup (Tomato Sauce) is an all-purpose condiment suitable for use with a variety of meals. Tomatoes, onions, brown sugar, vinegar and allspice are combined to create a rich, thick sauce. Keeps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks, or in a sealed, sterilised jar in the cupboard for months - give it a go!

Ingredients

Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
Brown onion 1 Large , chopped finely
Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
Ground allspice 1/4 Teaspoon
Canned diced tomato 1200 Gram (3 cans of 400 grams each used)
Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon
White vinegar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Salt To Taste
