Custard Tart

Custard Tart is a bakery classic. A sweet shortcrust pastry is pressed into a tart tin, then a rich, home made custard is poured on top with a dash of nutmeg. Lovingly baked then chilled, this delicious dessert will have them coming back for more - give it a go!


For pastry:
Plain flour 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Icing sugar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Butter 125 Gram , chop
Egg yolk 1
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Cold water 1 Teaspoon (if required)
For filling:
Eggs 3
Castor sugar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Super Fine White Sugar)
Vanilla extarct 2 Teaspoon
Warm milk 2 3/4 Cup (44 tbs)
