Quiche Lorraine

Quiche Lorraine is a classic baked dish, perfect for lunch or dinner. A delicious, home made pastry crust is filled with bacon, onion, cheese, eggs and cream then baked until golden. Serve hot or cold with salad or mixed vegetables - give it a go!


For the pastry:
Plain flour 1 3/4 Cup (28 tbs)
Butter 150 Gram , chop (chilled, chopped into cubes)
Egg yolk 1
Chilled water 2 Tablespoon
For the filling:
Brown onion 1 , chop
Bacon slices 6 , chop (Middle Rasher bacon)
Butter 30 Gram
Eggs 8
Cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Grated cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Freshly cracked black pepper To Taste
