Sweet and tart, fresh and juicy. This is one of my all time favorite sundaes.
|Ice cream scoops||3|
|Balsamic vinegar||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Honey/Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon (optional)|
In a boiling pan, boil balsamic vinegar. Once it begins to boil, turn down the heat and allow it to simmer for around 10-15 minutes until it turns thick and into the consistency of syrup.
Toss the strawberry slices with desired quantity of syrup.
Nudge the strawberry slices onto the bowl of scooped ice cream.
Top with syrup as desired.
Serve and enjoy!
The left over syrup can be stored in an airtight container for 2 weeks and used as required.
