In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Microwave Corn on the Cob. There are only 4 ears of corn used in this recipe, but you may make more, as needed, by increasing the microwave cooking time a bit.

Ingredients

Corn on cob 4 , husks removed (fresh)
Sea salt To Taste (or other coarse salt)
Black peppercorn To Taste
Butter 1 Teaspoon (as needed)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Rinse and dry corn with paper towel. Wrap them individually in plastic wrap.

MAKING

2. On microwave safe plate, place the corn and pop it in microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.

3. Rotate each ear of corn to 180 degrees and microwave further for approximate 3 minutes. Let them sit in microwave for 2 minutes or remove them from oven and let them sit on counter top for 10 minutes.

4. Unwrap and discard plastic.

5. Grind sea salt and black peppercorns lightly over both sides of cooked corn.

MAKING

6. Apply butter and serve hot.
