Butter | 8 Tablespoon , softened | |
Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Canned pumpkin | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Egg | 1 , beaten | |
Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Maple syrup | 1 Tablespoon | |
For glaze | ||
Powdered sugar | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Milk | 3 Tablespoon | |
Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
Coloured sugar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (Optional) | |
Candy sprinkles | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (Optional) |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
MAKING
2. In a bowl, put all the dry ingredients together and mix well and set aside.
3. In another bowl, beat together butter and sugar, until well blended using a hand blender.
4. Add pumpkin, egg, vanilla extract, and maple syrup and beat well until mixed and smooth.
5. Beat in the flour mixture little at a time and beat after each addition.
6. In greased baking sheets, drop the mixture using a cookie scoop, spacing well and bake in the oven for 14 to 17 minutes.
7. Remove and let the cookie cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes.
FINALIZING
8. In a bowl, put all together all the ingredients for glaze and beat well to combine.
9. Fill the glaze in a zip lock bag, cut the corner and drizzle it over the cookies.
SERVING
10. Sprinkle with coloured sugar or candy sprinkles, let it set and serve as desired.
