These easy to make cookies are sure to be a hit on your lunchbox.
Butter | 250 Milliliter , softened (1 cup) | |
Packed brown sugar | 150 Milliliter (2/3 cup) | |
Eggs | 1 | |
All purpose flour | 500 Milliliter (2 cups) | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Pecan halves | 375 Milliliter (1 1/2 cups) |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F or 190 degree C.
2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
MAKING
3. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and egg. Mix until well blended.
4. In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt.
5. Slowly add flour mixture into the bowl with the butter mixture. Mix well.
6. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
7. Roll one 1" pieces of dough into balls and place on the lined cookie sheet.
8. Flatten balls with the bottom of a glass dipped in flour.
9. Press a pecan into top of each cookie.
10. Pop it in oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
