In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies. Since these cookies are chocolate-flavored before adding the chocolate chips, they could be called Bacon Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs) , softened
Sugar 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Eggs 2
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Unsweetened cocoa powder 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Baking soda 3/4 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Semisweet chocolate chips 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Crisp bacon slices 6 , crumbled (You may omit the bacon or substitute ½ cup chopped pecans, if you prefer)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

2. In a large bowl, add softened butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Using electric mixer on medium speed beat until light and fluffy.

3. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

4. Add flour mixture into the bowl with wet ingredients and mix to combine.

5. Stir in chocolate chips and crumbled bacon.

6. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of cookie dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets or baking pans. Flatten each ball of dough slightly.

7. Place the pan in oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let stand about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

8. Serve and enjoy!

You can wrap and keep remaining dough in freezer for later use.
