In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make M M Monster Cookies. Being so colorful, these are great for Easter. They are big in size and big in flavor!
Butter | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , softened (1 stick) | |
Granulated sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Light brown sugar | 230 Gram , firmly packed (1 cup + 2 tablespoons) | |
Eggs | 3 | |
Creamy peanut butter | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Light corn syrup | 1/2 Teaspoon (or white) | |
Vanilla extract | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Old fashioned oats | 4 1/2 Cup (72 tbs) , uncooked | |
Baking soda | 2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Chocolate piece | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (M & M candy | |
Semisweet chocolate chips | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Cooking oil spray | 1 Teaspoon |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
2. Grease cookie sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
MAKING
3. In a large bowl, add butter, sugar, and light brown sugar. Using an electric mixer, on medium speed, beat until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs, one at a time and beat after each addition.
5. Drop peanut butter, light corn syrup, and vanilla extract. Beat well.
6. In a separate large bowl combine old fashioned oats, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
7. Add oat mixture to butter and sugar mixture. Mix to combine.
8. Stir in M & M candy-coated chocolate pieces and semisweet chocolate chips.
9. Pack dough into ¼-cup measure. Place dough 4 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Press each cookie into a 3 ½-inch circle, using the back of a spoon or your fingers.
10. Pop cookie sheet in oven and bake for about 12 minutes, or until cookies are beginning to brown around the edges, but are still slightly soft in the center.
11. Remove from the oven and let it cool in cookie sheet for about 5 minutes. Transfer it to a cooling rack and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
SERVING
12. Serve cookies with your favorite beverage.
