Cream Cheese Cookies

Cream Cheese Cookies are very easy cookies to make, they have a few simple ingredients in them, cream cheese, flour, sugar, shortening, vanilla, and an egg yolk.


Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cream cheese 3 Ounce
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Egg yolk 1
Vanilla 1/2 Teaspoon
Flour 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)



1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.


2. In a bowl, cream shortening.

3. Work in cream cheese and sugar, keeping smooth.

4. Beat in egg yolks, vanilla and flour.

5. Dough can be dropped, cookie pressed or chilled firm.

6. Roll and cut.

7. In a baking sheet lay them and bake for 15 minutes.


8. Let cool and serve right away.
