How To Make Snickerdoodles

Learn how to make Snicker Doodles. These are a wonderful shortbread cookie with a bit of spice.

Ingredients

Softened butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sugar 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Eggs 2
Flour 2 3/4 Cup (44 tbs)
Cream of tartar 2 Teaspoon
Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Ground cinnamon 1 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 400°F.

       

MAKING:                        

In an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugar.

Add eggs and mix well.

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and add to egg mixture.

Chill the dough and make into balls.

Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture and place on greased baking sheet.

Pop into oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
