This is a crisp, chewy cookie full of colorful MMs. Tastes wonderful with a glass of cold milk. The cookie recipe is close to the Nestle Toll house chocolate chip cookie recipe but with MMs and a little less sugar.
All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (plus 2 tablepoons extra) | |
Butter | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
White sugar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Egg | 1 | |
Vanilla extract | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Baking soda/Baking powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
M&m | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (of your choice) |
GETTING READY:
Preheat oven to 375°F/ 200°C.
Line baking tray with parchment paper.
MAKING:
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and whisk well.
In another bowl, cream together butter with sugar. Add egg, vanilla and beat well.
Add flour mixture and mix well. Add m&m and mix well. Refrigerate the dough for 15-30 minutes.
Place 1 tablespoonful mounds of dough over baking sheet and pop into oven.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
