Soft vanilla flavored sugar cookies paired with a creamy frosting and topped with your favorite variety of sprinkles. These are super easy to make and definitely a crowd pleaser- makes 60.

Eggs | 2 | |
Vanilla | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
All purpose flour | 3 1/4 Cup (52 tbs) | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Baking powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
For icing: | ||
Butter | 4 Tablespoon , either melted or on the verge of melting | |
Cold milk | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) ((more or less depending upon desired consistency)) | |
Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
Confectioners' sugar | 3 Cup (48 tbs) | |
Food color | 1 ((as desired)) | |
Sprinkles | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) |
GETTING READY:
Preheat oven to 375F.
Line baking tray with parchment paper.
MAKING:
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and whisk well.
In another bowl, combine butter, sugar, vanilla and whisk until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour and mix to form a smooth dough. Divide into two balls, wrap in a cling film and pop into refrigerator for 2 hours.
Chill for 1 hour or until slightly firm. Once firm, dust with flour and roll into thick sheet. Cut using cookie cutter and place on baking sheet.
Pop into oven and bake for 4-6 minutes.
For icing, whisk together butter and milk in a bowl.
Add vanilla, sugar and whisk well.
Mix with desired food color and spread onto cooled cookies.
