Unsalted butter | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (softened at room temperature) | |
Raw sugar/Granulated sugar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Packed light brown sugar | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
Egg | 1 Large | |
Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Baking soda | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
All | purpose flour | |
Chocolate | 200 Gram , roughly chopped into bite | |
Chopped nuts | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (optional) | |
Sea salt | To Taste |
GETTING READY:
Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
MAKING:
In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and beat well.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and mix well.
Add to butter mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips into batter.
Place 2 tablespoonfuls of batter on baking sheets and sprinkle salt on top.
Pop into oven and bake for 9-11 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes.
