Soft, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Soft, slightly chewy chocolate studded cookies sprinkled with a dash of sea salt to balance the bittersweet bliss. This is my favorite cookie recipe, and once you try it, you'll understand why )

Ingredients

Unsalted butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (softened at room temperature)
Raw sugar/Granulated sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Packed light brown sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Egg 1 Large
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Baking soda 3/4 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
All purpose flour
Chocolate 200 Gram , roughly chopped into bite
Chopped nuts 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (optional)
Sea salt To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.

Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

 

MAKING:

In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and beat well.

In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and mix well.

Add to butter mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips into batter.

Place 2 tablespoonfuls of batter on baking sheets and sprinkle salt on top.

Pop into oven and bake for 9-11 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes.

 

SERVING:
