How to Make "Lucky" Short Bread Cookies

This four-ingredient cookie is absolutely divine.

Ingredients

Softened butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
For frosting
Softened butter 4 Tablespoon
Powdered sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Milk 2 Tablespoon (((((if frosting is too thick may need to add more)))))
Green food color 2 Drop (((((optional (depending on depth of color will depend how much is added))))))

Directions

Making

Cookie

Preheat oven to 350˚F.

Combine softened butter and sugar in a blender and beat for several minutes; until smooth.

Then add in the vanilla extract; beat to combine. Afterwards slowly incorporate the flour to combine. 

Lay dough onto parchment paper and form a circle. Then roll into 1/4 inch, cut into rectangles (or custom shapes). Separate the dough and place on a baking sheet. 

Place baking sheet into the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden. Allow for cookie to cool on wire rack then frost. (Frosting recipe to follow). 

Frosting 

Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
