Sizzling potatoes in cheese sauce is a perfect cocktail starter, the combination of potatoes with cheese sauce and herbs makes it really very tasty.


For the cheese sauce
Cheese slices 4
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Milk 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Cream 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Dried mixed herbs 1/2 Teaspoon
For the potatoes
Boiled baby potatoes 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) , peeled
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Salt and ground black pepper To Taste
Other ingredients
Butter 2 Teaspoon , divided
For garnish
Dry red chili flakes 1/2 Teaspoon
Finely chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon



For Cheese Sauce

1. In a non-stick pan, melt butter, add cheese, milk and cream. Stir constantly and cook over medium flame for 1-2 minutes.

2. Stir in the mixed herbs and cook for another 1 minute. Set aside.

For Potatoes

3. In a non-stick pan, melt butter, add potatoes, salt and pepper. Stir occasionally and cook over medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.


4. Heat a sizzler plate till it is red hot Add butter and potatoes. Mix gently and cook for 2-3 minutes.

5. Pour the cheese sauce over the potatoes and cook for 1 minute.


6. Serve immediately garnished with dry red chili flakes and parsley.
