In this video, reporting for the award-winning channel Wine Oh TV, Monique Soltani heads to St Helenas popular watering hole and gets their award-winning bartender to share the secrets on his top holiday cocktails, which pair perfectly with food. Monique finds out why shopping on Napa Valleys Main Street is sure to put you in good spirits!

Ingredients

For jack clove
Apple brandy 1 1/2 Ounce (Lairds 100 Proof Bonded Apple Brandy)
Lime juice 1/4 Ounce
Homemade grenadine 1/2 Ounce
Clove tincture 10 Drop
For garnish
Dehydrated apple chip 1
For walnut lazarus
Bourbon 1 1/2 Ounce
Nocino della cristina 1/2 Ounce
Cointreau 1/4 Ounce
Fee bros whiskey barrel aged bitters 1 Dash
Ice cubes 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Orange zest 1/4 Teaspoon
For fermata
Brandy 1 Ounce (Germaine Robin Craft Method Brandy)
Wine 1 Ounce (late harvest Napa Valley wine)
Apricot liqueur 1/2 Ounce (Rothman and Winter Apricot Liqueur)
Cocchi americano 1/2 Ounce
Angostura bitters 1 Dash
Freshly grated nutmeg 1 Dash

Directions

For Jack Clove

MAKING

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the brandy, lime juice, grenadine and tincture, fill with ice and shake hard.

SERVING

2. Strain the drink into a chilled cocktail glass. Float the apple chip on top. Serve and enjoy!

For Walnut Lazarus

MAKING

1. In a chilled mixing glass, combine the bourbon, noncino, cointreau and bitters. Fill the glass with ice and stir for 30 seconds to chill and slightly dilute the cocktail

SERVING

2. Pour the drink into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with orange zest and serve.

For Fermata

MAKING

1. In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients stir for 30 seconds.

SERVING

2. Strain into a cordial glass and grate a little fresh nutmeg over the top.
