There is something exciting about the back to school season that goes well beyond the new pencil case. I love watching my children make friends with new classmates just as much as I adore meeting the new classroom moms. Every year I host a back to school moms brunch and this cocktail is one of those favorites that keeps reappearing on the menu. Light enough for brunch, but with an added kick that puts everyone at ease. Im using Stemilt Bartlett Pears in this recipe because their harvested in September, making these sweet pears a fresh addition to this crown pleasing cocktail.

Vodka 16 Ounce (((8
Bartlett pears 3 , thinly sliced (((Stemilt)))
Rosemary 10 (((6
Peach nectar 16 Ounce
Sparkling water 1 Bottle (1 l)
Fine white sugar To Taste (Optional)
For serving
Bartlett pear 1 , thinly sliced (((as needed)))

1. In a tall airtight jar, layer thinly sliced pears and cover with vodka. Seal the jar and allow the pear and Vodka to set for 3-4 days or up to a month to create flavorful autumn infused vodka.

2. Fill a glass with ice, sprinkle sugar (if using), layer few pear slices, and then add an ounce of pear infused vodka, 2 ounces of peach nectar, and a sprig of rosemary.

3. Top with sparkling water. Repeat for more glasses.

4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
