You can make homemade sangria very easily. I think this makes a great addition to any party. Sangria is inexpensive to make, and helps stretch out your budget on wine for a party.

Merlot 175 Milliliter
Simple syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Triple sec 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Mandarin oranges 4 , peeled ((1 of them juiced))
Green apple 2 , chopped
Strawberries 6 , cored and chopped
Club soda 1 Dash

1. In a pitcher, pour the red wine, merlot.

2. Peel the mandarin oranges and drop in the wine. Juice one of the oranges in the wine.

3. Chop the apples and the strawberries. Add to the wine.

4. Pour in the simple syrup and Triple Sec. Stir once.

5. Let it sit for couple of hours before serving.

6. Pour in fancy glasses and serve right away.
